In the unfortunate situation where you run into a player who is violating the SOS code of conduct, we encourage you to report that player in game. We take reporting and moderation very seriously, so please do not abuse this system as fraudulent reports are also violations of our code of conduct.
There are 5 types of categories that you may choose from when submitting a report.
When a player abuses VOIP with incessant noise or without regard of other players in proximity.
A questionable username that expresses hate, forms of discrimination or is crudely sexual.
Abusive actions and words targeted at a specific player about factors unrelated to SOS.
Using means that provide an unfair survival advantage through hacking or other exploits.
Hateful/offensive speech against any groups of people. A common example of this is racial slurs.
How to Report
To successfully report a player, follow these steps while in game.
1. Hit escape to pull up the menu of players in game
2. Click the 'Report' button next to the player's name that you want to report.
3. Select type of offense you are reporting them for from the drop down
4. Provide context and any additional details about the reason you are reporting the player in question.
5. Click submit!
As of now we do not have a system that notifies you when action has been taken based on a report you've filed, but the moderation team actively views all incoming reports and takes action accordingly. We at Outpost appreciate your efforts in helping us keep La Cuna island a fun and enjoyable place.
